Privacy notice

Waitlist sign-up · last updated 30 June 2026

This notice covers only the Äini waitlist sign-up. It does not yet cover uploading lab results, because that is not available at this stage. A separate, fuller notice will apply before any health data is collected.

Äini is a project of Mindclip Behaviour Oy, a company registered in Finland, which is the data controller responsible for the information you provide here.

Before going live: have this notice reviewed by someone qualified in EU data protection. This is a working template, not legal advice. In particular, confirm the data-storage and transfer statement below holds for every provider you use.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

We do not ask for, and you should not provide, any health information at this stage.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see below).

Where your data is stored, and who handles it

Your waitlist data — your email, any optional answers, and the time you consented — is stored in the European Union, in a database hosted by Supabase in an EU region.

The website itself is served by Vercel. Vercel is based in the United States, and some limited data — for example your IP address when your browser loads the page — may be processed on its infrastructure outside the EU. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard under the GDPR: Vercel is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and offers the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing terms.

We do not otherwise transfer your data outside the EU. If we later add an email or automation provider to run the waitlist, we will name it here and confirm its safeguard before doing so.

To confirm before going live: verify Vercel's Data Privacy Framework certification is active on the public list at dataprivacyframework.gov, confirm the Supabase region, and have this section reviewed by someone qualified in EU data protection. This is a working template, not legal advice.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until Äini launches or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first. If the project does not proceed, we will delete the waitlist.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:
